Our team is attempting to create a more efficient version of the BioBricks assembly method. As it stands, BioBricks require multiple different restriction enzymes and leaves behind a stretch of junk DNA known as a scar. We plan to solve these problems by modifying the plasmids inside E. coli using Cas12a.
